The Township of Scugog Business Licensing By-Law Number 135-05 regulates the following businesses within the Township:

• Adult Entertainment Parlours:
  
• Fees: up to $776.00
  
  
• Carnivals, Midways & Special Events:
  
• Fees: up to $118.00
  
• Council approval must be obtained 60 days prior to event.
  
  
• Fireworks Display and Sale:
  
• Fees: up to $133.00
  
  
• Hawker & Peddler
  
• Fees: $96.00
  
  
• Refreshment Vehicle
  
• Fees: up to $123.00
  
  
• Salvage Yards & Second Hand Goods
  
• Fees: up to $116.00
  
  
• Taxicab Company & Drivers:
  
• Fees: up to $155.00

Failing to obtain a Licence or failing to comply with the provisions of the Licensing By-Law may result in charges being laid and fines of up to $5,000.00 and/or the revocation of licences.
